On the occasion of World Blood Donor Day, the past 14 of June, at the facilities of HLA San Carlos of Dénia took place a day of blood donation with the aim of breaking the record of last year. In total, 611 donations were obtained throughout the HLA group, a magnificent figure that greatly helps the blood bank of the hospitals.
In addition, the participants not only stayed with the satisfaction of having collaborated with this initiative but also replenished their strength with a sandwich created by chef Pepe Rodríguez (Masterchef).
If any person wants to be a blood donor, they only have to have between 18 and 65 years and have a weight greater than 50 kilos, optimal health conditions and residence in Spain.
