Wide range of courses for young and long-term unemployed

The office of Creama de Xàbia has launched training programs for different groups in society. One of them is cooking. A 960-hour training course for young people between the ages of 16 and 21 with specific educational needs such as dropping out of school or who do not have a professional qualification. The course will consist of a theoretical part and a practice (in which the restaurants of Xàbia will collaborate) and the objective is to achieve the socio-labor insertion of these young people. This training course has been requested from the Department of Education.

Furthermore, the Javea Town Hall will participate in the VI Regional Workshop on Employment of the Marina Alta. These workshops, requested from Creama services, develop three specializations: geriatric care for dependent people in social institutions, social care to people at home and managing and maintaining social networks. Persons wishing to access these workshops are to be over 25 years, long-term unemployed.

Finally, a subsidy has been requested, which, if granted, will allow the hiring of a technician for six months to carry out employment itineraries (work plans). The person hired will be attended at the Xàbia Creama Agency, they must have been unemployed for more than a year and must be registered in the SERVEF.

In this same area, Creama together with the Department of Servicios Sociales of the Town Hall of Xàbia, has submitted an application to obtain a subsidy for projects aimed at the social and labor insertion of people in a situation of special vulnerability. The objective is the social inclusion of this group.
