La Filà Faciners is the youngest of the Moors and Christians festivities from Xàbia. Its creation is originated by several young people who wanted to enlarge the festivals by forming a new row, in this case, Christian, to balance both sides.

History
La Filà Faciners It was founded in Xàbia in July 2013 with the concern of 12 components that formed or had been part of some filà at the Moors and Christians Festival. After almost a year of hard work, they participated, for the first time, as filà at the 2014 parties.
Alternative
In its first year, the Filà was composed of a total of 12 people, between men and women, and at present, only five years later (year 2019), there are already 16 members that form the Christian Filà Faciners reaching two parades squads in the Gala Parade.
The components of the filà also integrate the little ones in these festivities as a symbol of the future of the Moors and Christians of Xàbia.
Origin of the name Faciners
'Faciners', translated into Spanish is 'Outlaws'. Its emblem clearly represents its side. The Christian cross centers the shield and around it the weapon appears; A bandit knife.

Costumes and music
Regarding your dress, Faciners It is characterized by the other rows, in its daily uniform, by a gray and dark blue chilaba. On the waist they wear a belt embroidered with the coat of arms of the filà as well as their badge marked on the bottom of one side of the chilaba. As for their parade costumes, the striking and daring makeup surprises every year all attendees.
With regard to music, this is a leading part of the parties and each of the rows. In the case of this Christian filà, the Filà Faciners, they have their own march composed by the composer of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Antoni Josep Català Buigues, just a year ago, in 2019. La Marcha AVANT FACINERS !!! dedicated to the Filà Faciners de Xàbia was premiered by the Santa Maria Magdalena Music Group of the Poble Nou de Benitatxell in the XVII Concert of Music Festera Moros and Cristians Xàbia 2019.

Flaggers and Captaincy
Although the Filà Faciners only six years immersed in the Moors and Christians parties of Xàbia has already held different positions. The first one was that of the Captaincy, barely two years old. It was in 2016 being its captains, María José Fernández Llobell and José Manuel García Barragán in which more than 400 people participated.
The second position came a year later, in 2017, with the Christian Flag Bearer. The role and responsibility of representing the Cross, by the Filà Faciners It was Loreto García Llidó.
