Els «Bous a la Mar» of Jávea close with the «baret» to the flag

One of the main dishes of the Mare de Déu de Loreto festivities, "els bous a la mar", has concluded after five days of celebration. During these days bullfighting sessions have taken place during the morning, afternoon and evening, welcoming a large number of neighbors and visitors.

But undoubtedly the most popular has been the traditional "baret dels bous" carried out by the Party Commission Mare de Déu de Loreto, who work piecework during those five days to serve attendees drinks and tapas with fresh products of the bay of Jávea. This celebration has become an annual event that few want to miss and also a tourist attraction for those who are spending their vacations in Javea during those days.

Yesterday was the last of "bous a la mar" and "baret" that closed in a big way, saying goodbye until next year. After the last bullfighting session it was time to lower the youngest to the ring, who had a great time fighting a bull pushed with a wheelbarrow. The night ended with the concert of the local group "The Mataos" that performed on the Paseo Marítimo until 03: 00 h.
