The tourist train starts the service and will make a route to the Historic Center from Monday, June 15

Starting this Monday, June 15, the tourist trenet in Xàbia and for the first time will carry out a route between Arenal, Puerto and the Historic Center, thus responding to the demands of merchant associations and thus promoting mobility between the three urban centers of the municipality.

Itinerary

The authorized itinerary will have six stops, the starting point being Avenida Jaume I, in the port (stop 1), and from there the tour will begin at Plaza Adolfo Suárez, calle Cristo del Mar, Avenida del Puerto, Avenida Juan Carlos I , Alicante Avenue (stop 2 in front of the Trinquet restaurant car park), Ronda Norte, Plaza Marina Alta, Avenida Príncipe de Asturias, Placeta del Convent (stop 3), Ronda Colón, Ronda Sur, Portal del Clot, Avenida Alicante, Ausiàs March, Augusta Avenue, Genoa Street, Venice Street, Mediterranean Avenue, Fontana Canal (stop 4), Libertad Avenue, South parking Arenal Beach (stop 5) and turn again on Avenida Libertad to the Fontana canal (stop 6), Canal Norte street and Augusta Avenue until you reach the starting point at Jaume I.

This route will be modified as soon as the works on the Triana bridge are finished and the direct connection between the port and the first Montañar, therefore, and as indicated in the itinerary, while the works on the Triana bridge are in progress, the Primer Montañar will be accessed via the street that leads to La Siesta.

The service will have an initial schedule from 10 a.m. to 14 p.m. and from 17 p.m. to 20 p.m. during the month of July, lasting until 23 p.m. from July.

    Just last week I was telling a merchant from the historic center that he is the manager who stopped the proposal to upload the trenet and there was another in the old town visiting the streets, the old cemetery, going up Calvary and arriving in Santa Lucia from behind the road. and that in 5 minutes you reach the hermitage.
