Representatives of the Popular Party of the different municipalities of the Marina Alta met last Saturday morning in Dénia to celebrate their regional convention. The event was chaired by the president of the Diputación and mayor of Calp, César Sánchez, and the president of the PP in the province of Alicante, Pepe Císcar.
The 9 Line of the TRAM or the liberalization of the AP7 were some of the issues that affect the region and were discussed in this meeting. Also, the president of the Provincial regretted that the Generalitat has not specified the investment designated to the line 9 TRAM between Dénia and Calp, one of the concerns with which the president of the PP in Dénia, Maria Mut.
With regard to the liberalization of the AP7, attendees agreed that it is a commitment of all political groups and hope that when the concession ends, the citizens of the Marina Alta can circulate for free on this road.
As for the candidates of the PP to the mayoralties of the municipalities of the Marina Alta, Pepe Císcar said that there will be a "Major renovation" in the region and new names could be known before the summer.
