El Town hall of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has hired 11 people from the municipality within the Social Employment Plan to carry out, for six months, service and maintenance work. In this way, the government team (RED Movement, PP and Pideb) wants to contribute to the labor insertion of the most disadvantaged groups.
The people hired were unemployed and without benefits. Specifically, they will cover five multiple laborer positions, two administrative assistants in the tourism offices o Culture, an administrative assistant in urban planning, a construction official and two public place maintenance laborers.
With the implementation of this plan, municipal services are reinforced while socio-economic assistance is offered to long-term unemployed residents. In addition, this program facilitates the reintegration into work, as pointed out by the Department of Services
Social.
Some of the selected applicants have already started work this week, the rest will do so in the month of May.
