The Placement Agency Creama-Xàbia and the Youth Department of the Javea Town Hall have developed during this
week a swimming pool maintenance course for unemployed people, in which a total of 16 people participated.
This course has enabled them to acquire technical skills in line with this job opportunity, which is increasingly in demand in the Marina Alta. In addition, the students have been able to do internships in the pool of the Parador de Turismo de Xàbia.
The continuous monitoring carried out by the Creama Xàbia Placement Agency on the labor market is at the origin of the organization of this course to offer a job option to those people who are unemployed.
The Councilor for Economic Dynamization of the City Council of Xàbia and Creama, juanlu cardona, has stressed that this training constitutes "a very useful tool, with which students will be able to discover or expand their knowledge about this sector, encouraging them to continue participating in future training actions that Creama plans to launch, with which they will be able to improve their conditions of access to the labor market.
Likewise, the councilor thanked the collaboration provided by the Parador and especially by its director, Alejandro García Valerio, to be able to use the pool in the practices of this course.
