Xàbia already has its three Blue Flags for the beaches of the town

14 June 2022 - 14: 21

The councilor for tourism and beaches has today collected the three blue flags that will wave one more summer on the beaches of the granadella, Arenal and La Grava.

The three, together with the Nautical Club, have renewed this distinction awarded by the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), through Adeac (Association of Environmental and Consumer Education) in recognition of the quality of the water of a beach and for complying a series of criteria in terms of accessibility, health, environmental education, cleanliness and safety.

The delivery of blue flags was held this morning at the Orihuela CN and was chaired by the Minister for Ecological Transition, Mireia Mollà.

  1. Pocilga Beach says:

    HAHAHA….

THEY WILL BE IN FUN, RIGHT?

So that later they complain that we think that politicians and other fauna are the worst of this Life.

What a circus you have set up to continue charging crazy salaries, what a shame.

JÁVEA, the Shit Coast with Blue Flag.

  2. Dolores Lindemueller says:

How much does it cost to buy a blue flag? Well, by the way, if officials would not grant it, the spill continues and more people suffer from skin after the bathrooms and the banks are dirty, and the two months that the dirt and butts remain under because they do not prohibit smoking or oblige bathers to carry a container for zu butts, in the Baltic countries there is no right.

    • IgnacioG says:

Smoking and taking dogs to the beach is already prohibited, but people still do it. If you add to that that there is no kind of surveillance or security because people do what comes out of their noses, including tourists who come from the Baltic States, it is incredible how they forget their civility as soon as they set foot in Spain.

  3. Vicent says:

Is that what they have given you are flags or boxes of wipes?

  4. Vicent says:

The one with the blue flags is a private beach bar. It doesn't matter if the beach is full of filtered and unfiltered shit, wipes, pee and chlorine. Those of the blue flags charge the piece of cloth at a price of gold and the flag is not synonymous with quality, but with having paid. Brown flag.

  5. Chungui Caganer says:

Why isn't Chulvi in the photo? Was he in the caganer sandbank contributing to his great and only contribution to the sandbank?

The best places, closed; nor a fix for the floods (it is impossible, of course, as it was in Denia to combat the ones they suffered in the 80s and 90s), but shit, by a tube (literally).

  6. Loreto says:

This has to be on TV. The beach of shit. Literal

    • Encarnacion Sanchez-Gonzalez says:

I would like to say the unfortunate situation of the park on Avenida de Paris, it is full of stubble, dry thistles, you cannot walk and even less sit on the benches, for fear of ticks, the carelessness is tremendous.

  7. IgnacioG says:

Perhaps what needs to be reviewed is the FEE and ADEAC… I see a lot of cronyism there. Al Arenal hasn't been awarded it because he already sang too much. The Minister of Ecological Transition, Mireia Mollà. She has not been to El Arenal nor has she made any kind of statement, nor was there a journalist or an association, foundation or group to ask her about the subject, right? No one ever asks, no one ever speaks, no one ever asks them for public explanations. They issue letters of opinion and press releases but no one ever asks them for explanations. Can you see the reigning chieftaincy?

  8. Anonymous says:

After all the percale with the Arenal beach, seeing this news granting a blue flag to a contaminated beach shows the plug and the agreements under the table that these people bring, PSOE out of the government now! How easy it is for you Chulvi, PSOE in the local government, PSOE in the regional government and PSOE in the national government, you don't have to work hard on the agreements from what I see.

  9. indignant socialist says:

But what a face, Jose; For this photo – together with the “hot potato” of Arenal – if you send the poor alderman. You alone are here to rain on you.
