thriller series, 'The inmortal', from Movistar Plus+ has been released these days. During eight chapters the real story of 'Los Miami' is told. A criminal gang dedicated to drug trafficking that dominated the Madrid nightlife in the 90s.
Among its scenarios, Xàbia is one of them; but yes, in the argument it is simulated that it is Ibiza. And it is that, this town became a great stage of Ibiza for the series. Starring Álex García, along with Emilio Palacios and Marcel Borrás, The inmortal takes place between hundreds of locations among which Dénia, Altea or Madrid also stand out.
From Xàbia it can be highlighted, according to a statement from Movistar, that "the footballer's house that is seen when Los Miami arrives on the island (chapter 3) corresponds to a villa in Jávea."
Moreover, the Cala Portitxol and his local Cala Clemence, where a big party (chapter 3) and a wedding (chapter 4) are staged, are other locations of this gangster thriller.
The recording of this series began in May 2021, when it was already known that Cala del Portitxol was once again the scene of a new series.
Maybe I'm exaggerating but I don't think it's fair that it be recorded in Xàbia and they say it's Ibiza, the same thing happened with the movie 'Uncharted', they shot here and they said the Philippines, I think that before giving permission to shoot they should make sure that no they are going to give the municipality a 'other name', we could get quality tourism for that type of thing instead of just for parties and large bottles.
That's not called exaggerating, it's called not having a wanky idea of cinema hahaha
And that is called having no idea of education
Come on, it bothers you that cinema is cinema.
Anyway…
Cinema does not stop being cinema by calling things by their name
