The Department of Economic Development of Xàbia has asked the members of the local business to promote a new Stock fair for next Saturday, October 23. The place to celebrate it would be the Duanes area and, as in the one last June, it would be open to the participation of shops throughout the Marina Alta.
The municipal manager, Marta Bañuls, recalled that this event had a great reception success. In addition, it helped small businesses to sell outlet products after a difficult season. He also made known to the public of Xàbia companies from other towns.
Bañuls adds that a pre-registration period to check if stores are interested in participating. Those interested should contact the email adl-xabia @creama.org before October 14. From Economic Development they will inform you of all the details of the fair.
The mayor has pointed out that this would be an action to commemorate Local Commerce Day, an initiative at the regional level to which Xàbia agreed to join and that will serve to recognize and support a key sector in local economies and in the quality of life of the peoples.
