El Javea Town Hall has incorporated three gardening laborers, who were unemployed, through the employment promotion program emcorp. The three workers will be full-time and during the next six months, they will reinforce the parks and gardens brigade that is responsible for maintaining the green areas of the municipality.
The beneficiaries of this program have been selected by the Local Agency for Local Development among the unemployed who were registered in the system Works.
The EMCORP program is promoted by the Servei Valencià d'Ocupació i Formació with the objective of promoting socio-labor integration through work and service contracts of general and social interest. To apply for these jobs you must be over 30 years old and be registered as a job seeker.
In the case of Xàbia, the Conselleria d'Economia Sostenible, Sectors Productius, Comerç i Treball has subsidized these contracts with 40.410,14 euros.
