The Department of Equality Javea Town Hall has prepared an extensive program to commemorate the Donut Day a symbolic date in the struggle of women for equal participation in society and their full development as a person.
councilwoman Montse VillaverdeAnnounced that workshops are planned, theaters, exhibitions and other activities to call for reflection and awareness of equality.
On Tuesday 8 of March at 13 hours will take place the concentration that is repeated every year in front of the City Council in which a manifesto for Equality will be read.
On Thursday 10 will take place a workshop on new masculinities, from the 18: 30 to the 20: 30 hours in the Social Center, A day later, at the 20 hours in the House of Culture the theater will be represented "Vagina Monologues for two".
On Wednesday, March 16, the first meeting of the reading club on feminist and equality issues was called. What a club that began to be forged with the release of books a few months ago. The appointment is at 18:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the Soler Blasco Museum.
