The Department of Sports, headed by Toni Molina, has published in the State Contracting Platform the construction of two pump track tracks on a municipally owned plot located on Garcilaso de la Vega street (next to the emergency helipad next to to Trenc d'Alba School). The contract is put out to tender for an amount of 265.000 euros and has a work execution period of three months.

The tracks will be implemented in an area that will be delimited on the perimeter with curbs and will be completely paved with a minimum surface area of 1.400 square meters, one of intermediate grade, and the other of 400 square meters of initial grade.

In the largest circuit there will be seven banked curves with turns to the left or right, 20 modules of plateau-type undulations at different heights; six double jump type ripple modules, and two input and output platforms at each end of the circuit.

While on the beginner grade track, four banked curves with left or right turns, 1 module of plateau jump type undulations at different heights, three modules or double jump type undulations, and an entry and exit platform at one end of the circuit , faced with the entrance to the other circuit.

The Councilor for Sports, Toni Molina, has been very excited about this project because it is multipurpose "it serves to hold official comxicotetions, but also for leisure for the whole family." The configuration of the pump track "will allow both those who are experienced and those who are beginners to enjoy and learn the skills of both BMX, MTB, skate, skates and scooters."

Finally, the councilor highlighted that the local government thus offers "another space for young people who like to practice sports outdoors and we continue to expand the offer in our municipality."

If the Pump Track is not built by a company specialized in the construction of said circuit, public money will go to waste. Because the construction of said circuit requires knowledge that not any company is capable of obtaining. There are already many circuits that have been built by NON-SPECIALIZED companies and no one uses them, because they have flaws that become very uncomfortable and dangerous when driving on them (bumpy cambers, poor reception on jumps, poorly made measurements that very dangerous). How in a short time the pavement begins to have problems with earth movements and begins to crack, poor water evacuation.
