The Department of Sports of Xàbia reports that until next November 22 is open the deadline for local athletes apply for scholarships of this 2017.
These grants are aimed at athletes between 9 and 35 years of age, who are registered or have belonged to a local club for at least two years. It is necessary that they practice a sport in performance levels aimed at achieving provincial, regional, national and international titles (the merits obtained from the 2 of December from 2015 to the 31 of December of 2016 are bareman), besides being federated or having athlete's condition Jocs Esportius of the Comunitat Valenciana.
The scholarships that are awarded are intended to help defray the costs of sports preparation and training carried out by athletes, who have become benchmarks and models for youth, as well as promoting their improvement. The amount of the total financial contribution amounts to 12.000 euros.
