Throughout this week there have been several witnesses who have insisted on witnessing groups of whales on the coasts of the region. Yesterday, again, specimens were seen near the coast of Xàbia, by the Cabo de Sant Antoni towards the town.
According to the witnesses, it would be rorquals, some up to 16 meters long, and which walk very close to the shore, without fear of the boats.
It is increasingly common to find this type of visitors along our coasts, which have become an important point of transit for cetaceans.
