Next Friday, March 24, at 19:00 p.m., the chamber music students of the Xàbia Professional Conservatory will present the concert "Les dones en la música". This recital will have a large female presence both in the composition and in the interpretation of the works.
Several chamber groups will perform on the stage of the Portal del Clot multipurpose room, some made up exclusively of women and others mixed. In addition, lovers of classical music will be able to enjoy another great event in Xàbia next Saturday, March 25 at 21:00 p.m. in the St. Bartholomew's Church. The unique formation in Spain, the Casa del Mediterráneo ensemble, belonging to the Casa Mediterráneo Consortium, of which Xàbia is a part, will offer a concert inspired by Holy Week under the direction of Ignacio García-Vidal.
The concert, entitled Stabat Mater, will be attended by the countertenor soloist Pedro Pérez and will present works by Vivaldi such as the Symphony to the Holy Sepulcher and the Stabat Mater. Admission to this event will also be free.
