Around the 21 hours a forest fire has begun in the area of Cala Blanca in Xàbia. The fire has affected a surface of 1000 m2 of an area of pine forest and bushes, located near the viewpoint of this cove.
There have been three vehicles from the Alicante Fire Consortium as well as Civil Protection, Local Police and volunteer firefighters from Balcón al Mar. The rapid intervention has been crucial so that the flames will not affect nearby homes.
About the 22 hours, one hour after the start of the event, the fire has been extinguished.
