Vicent More Lleyda athlete, men and women Maxine McKinnon were the winners of the XXIV Volta a Peu to Xábia. The test was a record number of participants, as they approached the 2.300.
The totally flat course and the fact of being the first test of the Circuit a Peu contributed to this massive presence of athletes.
The general classification was the following in men; Vicent Plus with a time of 32 minutes and 56 seconds was the fastest of all the participants. The second place went to the athlete Abraham Pastor. The third place went to Cristhian Climent.
As for women the fastest was the British who lives in Orba, Maxine McKinnon with a record of 37 57 minutes and seconds. The second classified was, Mª Isabel Ferrer and the third was Shophie Gautier.
The classification of each one of the categories was the following: Youthful Feminine; Ana Bisquert ahead of Noelia Morata. In Juvenile Masc the winner was Pedro Miguel ahead of Oliver Thomas and Raúl Rodríguez.
Senior Women category was the best; Mª Isabel Ferrer ahead of Cristina Roselló and Beatríz Piedra. In this same category but in men, the podium coincided with that of the general classification; Vicente Más, Abraham Pastor and Cristhian Climent.
In the category of Veterans "A" the result was as follows; Shophie Gauter, ahead of Monica Mahiques and Eva Ballester. While in men, the fastest was; Xavi Blasco followed by Diego Vidal and Enrique Soria.
In Veterans "B", the best was, Maxine McKinnon followed by Rosa Puertas and Inma Jorrillo. As for Veterans "B", the best was Juan Sellens, followed by Emili Pérez and Claudio García.
In Veteranas "C" the athlete who entered first was, Henriette Weeber followed by, Pepi Martínez and Mª Dolores Vicente. In Men the best was Emilio Ferreiro ahead of Santiago Guzmán and Brian Harris.
Once the career of the greatest concluded it was the turn for the lower grades, where the highlight was again the large number of participants.
