The Football Federation of the Valencian Community has taken the decision to suspend the scheduled day in grassroots football for this weekend before the alert for risk of extreme rains due to the expected episode of "cold drop". The suspension affects the categories Cadet, Infantil, Alevín, Benjamín and Prebenjamín, both male and female football and futsal.
The meteorological alert decreed by the Generalitat Valenciana and advisable prudence in these cases have moved the Valencian Football Federation to suspend the next day of comxicotetion in the categories Cadet, Infant, Alevín, Benjamín and Prebenjamín of soccer and futsal masculine and feminine, including in this suspension the meetings advanced to the day of today, Thursday 18 of October, as well as those of tomorrow Friday and the weekend.
Avoid useless risks
The Federation considers that this measure is the most advisable and appeals to the common sense of the clubs that participate in the other categories to apply prudence when making trips. Given the recommendations of the Autonomous Administration and the warnings of the Emergency Coordination Center of the Generalitat Valenciana before the forecast of extreme rainfall at local level. The decision seems the most logical to avoid taking unnecessary risks.
In the coming days from the Federation itself, through its Committees of Grassroots Football and Futsal, will be informed about the proposed dates for the recovery of this suspended day.
