Six new players join the Musical Arts Center of Xàbia

This weekend the celebrations of the Xàbia Musical Artistic Center begin in honor of its patron saint, Santa Cecilia. On Friday afternoon, the acts will begin with a welcome that will be given to the muse, Nuria Roselló, and a parade in which they will pick up the new musicians and that will end in the Church of St. Bartholomew to celebrate mass in honor of the patron saint. Miguel G. García Bisquert and Joana Albi Puig (Clarinet), Inés Angosto Cortés (Flute), María Ramis Cabo and Raúl Silvestre Cantó (Horn) and Luis García Bas (Trumpet), are the six new musicians who will join the Musical Band of Jávea.

On Sunday, December 24, the concert of the youth band will be held and will take place in the Plaza de Baix at 12:30 pm. The following weekend, Friday, November 29, will continue the programming in honor of Santa Cecilia with the extraordinary concert of the Musical Artistic Center of Xàbia that will take place in the Church of San Bartolomé at 22:00. and whose entry will be free and free for all audiences. "From Chaplin to the XNUMXst century", this is the title of the concert that will be offered and that will give a review of the best cinematographic soundtracks of great composers of the genre such as John Williams, James Horner or Ennio Morricone. In this way it is intended to capture the attention of both music lovers and moviegoers in a concert that will be directed by Juan Francisco Sanjuán Rodrigo.
