Empty streets and establishments closed by the Alarm State are undoubtedly easy targets for criminals. In just three days, two establishments in the Xàbia port area have been the target of thieves.
The first of these occurred on the night of last Saturday to Sunday in the restaurant Noray. Shortly before 4 in the morning, an individual forcibly entered this hospitality premises, breaking part of the glass of the establishment, causing great damage and taking the cash register. The security cameras captured the moment of the crime.
The second robbery has taken place in the early hours of this Wednesday. At 6:15 in the morning, a man entered the Duanes de la Mar tobacconist, located a few meters from the restaurant, breaking the entrance door and glass and once inside, he took the cash register and a monitor advertising. According to the owners, "They have done more damage than they could take."
With these two events, it is wanted to alert both the population and businessmen and merchants of what happened in these days of the State of Alarm, in which the exit to the street is prohibited, but apparently, the thieves take advantage of the moment to assault business.
