Different words to name the same thing. That is the word game or challenge that two teachers have started during confinement. Ana Fornés, a resident of Xàbia and a CEIP infant teacher Vicente Tena and Cristina Arnau, a neighbor of Benicarló, and a CEIP Graüll teacher, have taken this initiative, through social networks, to show the richness of our language and above all, to spend leisure time in a different way.
Ana explains to this newsroom that when they met each other in a course about two years ago and struck up a conversation and friendship they realized the large number of words they said differently, despite speaking the same language.
The two, Valencian-speakers, call dozens of actions, food, animals, etc. in a different way. So, following the start-up of two Catalan citizens, they do so with Valencian words.

"We have made two videos on this challenge and posted through social networks and the truth is that it has been widely accepted", indicates Fornés. And it is that, each population has its identity, either for its customs, traditions and as in this case, its vocabulary and its pronunciation.
