In the early hours of this Sunday, after the fireworks show, around the 1, a fire started on a plot in the Salada de Xàbia area, on the Playa del Arenal. Apparently, the remains of a pruning were the cause of the flames.
A vehicle of first exit and four firemen of the Park of Benissa, Civil Guard, Local Police and Civil Protection went to the place of the fire. The fire brigade has remained until the 7 in the morning extinguishing the fire and during the day continues the surveillance so that the embers do not rekindle.
