El Club Nautico de Javea has organized a new edition of its Christmas Clinic together with Ciclón Optimist Sailing, an event that has become a preparation for the youngest sailors.
This ninth edition counted with the participation of 33 sailors of the optimist class from different parts of Spain, Germany and France, among whom were most of the fleet in this category of the Sport sailing section of the Club Nautico de Javea.
The Clinic is run by Ricky Stadel and coaches Sven Stadel, Julián Viciano and Tuse Matico. Three days were held in which sailors combined a theoretical part and especially between 4 and 6 hours of work a day in different parts of the bay of Xàbia.
The training has allowed participants to improve their technique, speed, departures, strategy, videos or even the importance of warm-up in the pre-sailing, but also on the way back.
The next scoring appointment for the regional ranking of the optimist fleet of the Yacht Club of Jávea will be on January 11 in Benidorm.
