The regional Championship Sub 8,10 12 and chess, in the form of quick games attended by 115 children throughout Valencia
The tournament was divided into three categories, each participant disputed 7 15 games 10 minutes seconds increment per move.
The representation of the Marina Alta region for this tournament focused only on 2 players, Rebeca Jimenez by Xàbia and benisero Antonio Bertomeu by the Club Calpe.
Rebeca Jiménez had a great performance and managed to get in first place in her Sub 10 category. With this result he qualified for the Spanish Championship, which will be held soon. On the other hand Antonio Bertomeu finished the tournament in a good thirteenth position.
The organization of the tournament was very good and the kids enjoyed playing and making new friends.
