What holidays can shops open in 2021?

On December 15, the Resolution of December 10, 2020, of the Minister of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Commerce and Labor, was published in the DOCV, which determines Sundays and business holidays for the business practice in 2021.

In it, it is established in general, and for the entire territorial scope of the Valencian Community, during the year 2021 the commercial establishments located in the Valencian Community may open to the public on the following Sundays and holidays:

    Sunday January 3: Campaign of Kings.
    Sunday January 10: Winter sales.
    Good Friday April 2: Greater tourist influx.
    Easter Sunday April 4: Greater tourist influx and coincidence of two holidays.
    Sunday May 2: Coincidence of two holidays.
    Sunday 4 July: Summer sales.
    Sunday October 10: Coincidence of two holidays.
    Monday November 1th: Coincidence of two holidays.
    Sunday December 6: Christmas campaign and coincidence of two holidays.
    Sunday December 19: Christmas campaign.
    Sunday December 26: Kings campaign and coincidence of two holidays.

It must be taken into account that retail establishments that do not operate in distribution chains, with less than 300 m2 of sales room have total freedom to determine the days and hours of opening throughout the year,
according to Law 1/2015, of February 27, on Business Hours in the Valencian Community.

It should be noted that some municipalities of Creama, are considered High Tourist Influx Zones (ZGAT), for the purposes of business hours.

Finally, remember the trader's obligation to present the poster with the days and opening hours.
