The Civil Protection Group of Xàbia began yesterday the special forest surveillance operation on the occasion of Holy Week. The volunteers will be in two shifts, from 11:00 a.m. to 16:00 p.m. and from 16:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m., until next April 8.
El Councilor for Citizen Security and beaches, Juan Ortolá, has thanked the dedication of the Civil Protection volunteers for monitoring "these days our municipal area", a surveillance that they carry out while "we are all enjoying a few days of rest."
