El Town hall de Silla has awarded the Porrot d'Honor Award every year for the last 30 years, one of the most prestigious cultural awards. An award that is given to relevant figures from the literary, musical, artistic, social and sports world both in the Valencian Community and in the municipality of Silla.
In these Awards, their winners approved, by plenary session, there are different categories: Porrot d'Honor de les Lletres Valencianes (writers, musicians, artists or institutions around the Valencian letters of the Valencian Community), Porrot d'Honor to the Cultural, Civic and Sports Activity (neighbors, neighbors and entities of Silla) and the Porrot d'Honor Ciudad de Silla (personalities or entities from all over the world).
In the category of Porrot d'honor de les Lletres Valencianes, the winner of this 2022 has been the writer from Xàbia, Pepa Guardiola.
