One of the important gastronomic events is currently taking place in the Alicante Provincial Council Auditorium (ADDA). This is the Repsol Suns Gala, which recognizes the good work and talent of the best chefs in the country and which this year has been presented by Silvia Abril and has the motto 'The kitchen fills us up'.
This 2023, the Repsol Guide has distinguished a total of 101 new establishments by awarding them the Repsol Sun and there are now more than 700 that make up the universe of Repsol Guide Suns 2023 (43 Three Suns, 164 Two Suns and 505 One Sun), in addition of the 1.268 Recommended restaurants.
Among these outstanding restaurants are three in Xàbia: Bon Amb (3 Repsol Suns), Tula (2 Repsol Suns) and La Perla de Jávea (1 Repsol Sol) with which a total of six Suns are added, despite the fact that this year there have been no new awards for new premises in the municipality nor have those already awarded risen in rank.
Even so, Bon Amb maintains its three Repsol Suns, Tula two and La Perla de Jávea one. Besides, Xàbia has eight establishments with the Solete badge and one in the Recommended category.
La Perla is better and Tula too... and what about Masena... do they have a hobby for her?
