The clinic REMA has established an agreement with the Club d'Atletisme de La Xara, in which athletes will be offered complete cardiological medical examinations with electrocardiography, Doppler echocardiography and Gas Stress tests, performed by renowned Cardiologists.
The Club d'Atletisme de La Xara participates in numerous races and is very active.
Ernest Ivars, President of the Club has stated that “with this agreement we are thinking about the athlete and their health and better performance. Obviously the stress tests will give peace of mind for sports practice ”. The REMA clinic wanted to "thank the concern of the La Xara Athletics Club and the importance of carrying out these examinations that help detect the dreaded sudden death".
