After several weeks of rest the Circuit a Peu Marina Alta, with the dispute of the 3ª Volta a Peu to Benitatxell, a tough test of 9.200 meters. With a leaden sky that threatened a rain that did not arrive, they took the exit around 1.100 athletes.
The winners of the race were, in men, Nizar Lakhlifi, athlete from Xàbia, who plays in the Club Multiesport Benitatxell. In women, the best was again Mª Isabel Ferrer, who added his second win this season in the Circuit after the achieved in Calpe.
Tactical race of Nizar
From the first meters of the test, a group where Nizar Lakhlifi were, Toni Soler and Youssef Ahatach took over the operations. They printed a high rhythm to break the group and go in a head group. The ups and downs were not the best nor the most appropriate terrain for Youssef Ahatach, who chose not to follow Toni and Nizar.
These two Xabieros athletes were consuming the kilometers until when they reached the last climb, Nizar made a strong change of pace that surprised Toni Soler, who could not follow him. The young Nizar, with the colors of the local club received a warm ovation when crossing the first one by the finish line. In women, the dominion of Maria Isabel Ferrer has been total, from the first meters she was ahead of Cristina Roselló, to which the course did not favor him before a much lighter rival who knew how to measure his effort very well. Ferrer crossed the finish line as the first woman in a clear way, ahead of Cristina Roselló who was second and very close to her, Andrea Abad entered.
In this feminine classification, things get very interesting with a close fight for the jersey of the Circuit a Peu Marina Alta between Mª Isabel Ferrer and Cristina Roselló.
