Moha Younes and Víctor Fernández flew in the 'Behobia-San Sebastián'

The athletes who love the middle ground say that one of the races that you can not stop doing in your life is the classic one, Behobia-San Sebastián. The test, which this year fulfilled its 53 edition, had the participation of more than 30.000 athletes. The race was organized by the Fortuna Sports Club of the capital of San Sebastian.

Among the runners, there was representation of Llebeig Athletics Club Xàbia how could it be otherwise, always present at major sporting events. Moha Younes and Víctor Fernández went to Donosti, accompanied by other athletes from different clubs in the region.

The day before the race the weather was not good, rain and cold, which made it presage that during the test the hardness would be extreme. Fortunately, during the course of 21 kilometers the rain did not appear.

Moha Younes, in his debut in this race, proposed to go from less to more, especially in the first 3 kilometers to not have any fall or receive any elbow given the accumulation of athlete.

The athlete of the Athletics Club Llebeig Xàbia perfectly fulfilled his strategy and set an outstanding performance. His time on the finish line was 1: 10.45, being the 68 of the absolute classification, and the 41 of the senior category. His pace was 3'30 the kilometer, but he found himself so good that the last kilometer, pulled by the audience on the boulevard where the finish line was, did so at a rate of 3'02.

Moha was the third of the representative athletes of the Comunitat Valenciana in the race behind the Valencian Sergi Güeme and the Elche, José Antonio Casanova who entered just one place ahead of the Xabiero.

Víctor Fernández another great one in Donosti

His teammate, veteran Víctor Fernández, did not walk behind and was outstanding, entering the finish line with a time of 1: 14.08, being the 198 of the overall general classification and the 73 of his category of veterans.

They lived a great weekend, since around this test an extraordinary Corridor Fair was set up, in the Congress Hall and in the Kursal Auditorium. Everyone highlighted how the Basque public lives this test, they do not stop cheering and many confessed that on the home straight, they put their hair on edge when listening to the fans.

The winner of this edition of the classic test of San Sebastian was Carles Castillejo with a time of 1: 00.39, followed by Camilo Santiago who made a mark of 1: 01.31. The third place went to Iraitz Arrospide with an 1 record: 02.37.
