September 11 has arrived and with it, back to school. Summer vacation is over and the daily routine is back. In Xàbia, more than 1.909 boys and girls have returned to the classrooms in the infant and primary cycles.
Specifically, there have been 420 students in the Mediterrània School, 360 students in Graüll, 255 boys and girls in Trenc d'Alba, 215 students in Port de Xàbia and 443 schoolchildren in the Arenal School. In addition, another 216 students have started the course at the María Inmaculada charter school.
These figures do not include the enrollment data of the two private schools located in Xàbia: Xàbia International College and Waldorf Montgó.
The Services brigade has been carrying out small interventions in the educational centers all summer in order to resolve the repairs that were pending, as well as the necessary maintenance work.
It was the school management teams that transferred these needs to the Councilor for Culture, Parties and Education, Mavi Pérez, during a series of meetings that took place in the first weeks of July.
