On Fridays it will be a day of going to 'school' on foot thanks to the implementation of three lines of 'Pedibús'

Friday April 8 will start in Xàbia three new Lines Pédibus, A project linked to the program Pas a Pas. Camins Escolars Xàbia which aims to encourage children to walk to school. For this, the councils of education and citizen participation have programmed three routes to the Graüll, María Inmaculada, Vicente Tena and Trenc d'Alba so that the children can go to school on foot and in the company of parents and volunteers who will help make the path safe, which for the moment will be held every Friday.

Pas a Pas

La 1 line, Bound for Graüll and Vicente Tena schools, leaving at 8: 30 am from the Plaza de la Marina Alta, has a stop at the Plaza de la Iglesia at 8: 40 and reaches schools at 8: 50. The 2 lineTowards the CEIP Trenc d'Alba, leaves at 8: 30 from Plaza Reina Sofía, has a stop at 8: 40 in Palomar gardening and arrives at school at 8: 50. For its part, the 3 lineTowards the Mary Immaculate, leaves at 8: 30 of the Plaza del Convento, has a stop at 8: 40 in the Plaza de la Iglesia and arrives at school at 8: 50.

These three lines are the beginning of lines Pédibus, Which is expected to develop two more in the CEIP CEIP L'Arenal and The Port for next year.

During the past year, children, parents, teachers and technicians have participated in the development of all aspects of the program Pas Pas, go now materialized part of its goal with the launch of these three lines.
