This Thursday morning has taken place, in Pinosol, the first of the two informative talks that are part of the campaign Stop the Foc. Protect your Housing and your Urbanization of the Ministry of Agriculture, Environment, Climate Change and Rural Development.
This talk has had the participation of the mayor, José Chulvi, and the general director of Forest Fire Prevention, Delia Álvarez, who have transferred to residents the importance of taking extreme precautions in these areas in which the forest and housing coexist, since statistics indicate that a high percentage of the fires have their origin in negligence or non-compliance with the prohibitions of making fires.
The general director, Delia Alvarez, has said that supporting municipalities is essential, since they are the ones who suffer this irrigation every summer with the problem of forest fires.
Álvarez added that, two years after the fire in the granadella, are carrying out, together with CEAM, an analysis of the regeneration of the area to implement the restoration plan. The works will be carried out during July and September and in October they will have a planned planning to gather the consultation table with all the actors to comment on the conclusions.
