Last Sunday took place the traditional 2 "Swimming trip of the Port of Moraira", a test that served to inaugurate the calendar of Circuit III open waters of the Marina Alta.

The morning began with the exit to the longest test of 1.800 meters was out on the beach of Portet and the arrival in l`Ampolla. The winner of it was, César Fernández with a mark of 25 17 minutes and seconds. It is necessary to emphasize the fourth place of the swimmer Adrián Peris, of the Athletics Club Llebeig and the fifth place of Javier Cardona, of the same club in the category of masculine senior.

In women the winner was Irina Santacreu with a record of 26 55 minutes and seconds. The second classified was Amanda Martínez with a time of 26 56 minutes and seconds and third place went to Sara Molina with a record of 30 52 minutes and seconds.

Mean the condition of the sea was totally calm something that was thankful for swimmers. A test that each edition has grown in number of participants and has slowly carved a niche in the calendar of open water swimming.

The next round of open circuit waters of Marina Alta, organized by the Consorci Esportiu Marina Alta, will be held on Sunday August 9 the Journey to swim in Dénia.
