The Luján brothers are the world kings in the 420 Class of sailing

The young sailors of the Club Náutico Jávea, Enrique and Pablo Luján they have become the new world kings in the 420 Class of sailing. They were the winners of the test held in waters of the australian town of Fremamtle.

The Luján brothers marked rhythm from the beginning and in the first three races of the championship achieved two first places and a third. In fact in six of the 12 sleeves, Enrique and Pablo were among those positions on the podium.

With all in the absence of a day to close the championship, the Luján were third and it was in this last test when they made the final assault to first place. A first place and a third in the last three races, gave the victory to the Xabiero team.

The xabieros sailors completed a championship with 41 points, in front of the 48 that obtained the pair formed by Albert Torres and Fernando Mulet (RNC Palma and Club Náutico Arenal) and 50 points of Carlos Balaguer and Antonio Massanet (RNC Valencia and RNC Palma).
