Training courses and employment promotion in hospitality and tourism are opened

Today the training classes for the employment plan for the hotel and tourism industry have begun, in which the Town hall of Jávea and the CREAMA. These courses have a dual purpose since in addition to training the 90 students with theoretical courses, they will also have the opportunity to do internships in restaurants in Jávea. These restaurants, or others in which they have not done the internship, once the internship period is over will have the option of hiring them and if they do, the Jávea City Council will pay a few months of social security.

This pioneering program that aims to reduce the number of unemployed in Jávea in one of the most powerful sectors of the municipality, tourism and hospitality, has come from the union of public and private entities. In this way, the theoretical part will be carried out in the Hemeroscopea of ​​Jávea, collaborating entity along with Mediterranean Events directed by Arline Francis, in some classes that will last until the month of December before giving way to the practical part. At the beginning of the courses, the Councilor for Economic Development attended. Juan Luís Cardona, Treasury, Óscar AntónThe Tourism, Antonio Miragall and Mayor of Jávea, José Chulvi.

The councilors have agreed that tourism and hospitality are the basis of the economy in our area and have thanked both the students and the organizers for being part of this initiative that is sure to be a pioneer of many more projects. They have also agreed to ensure that one of the most important things will be practices in companies, which will be a key point in the program of this training. For its part, the director of the Hemeroscopea Center, Ana Catalá, wanted to thank the City Council for its economic effort and added that "so all in shared leadership. we must pay our enthusiasm, our interest and be participatory".
