The council of Servicios Sociales of the Town hall de Jávea has launched a new project through which basic knowledge will be offered to professional caregivers with the aim of disseminating practical advice, giving notions of proper care for people with dependency and also advice for the protection of the caregiver. The training will be free of charge and will be given at the Jávea Social Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. at 13:00 p.m. from October 22 to November 26.
The course is aimed at people who benefited from the system dependency care, however, they can also participate all citizens who have in their care a dependent person and do not have any help. The mayor of Social ServicesTere Bisquert, said it is very important to share experiences with others who are in the same situation and it is very useful to have basic knowledge in using the orthopedic material or move and bathing the sick without either out injured.
The workshop will be taught by professionals from social services, psycho-pedagogical, health center of Javea and the company SAD assistance. Those interested can formalize registration or further information in the Social Center or by calling Jávea 96 579 41 42.
