After the keys of the kingdom of Xàbia were delivered to Muslims with victory in a great battle on Friday afternoon Christians recovered what belonged to them originally. They began with a war of trebuchets in gravel beach and continued strife at the foot of the castle still under Muslim rule. Dialogue between Moor and Christian ambassadors, ended in a duel between the two sides, Christians had regained what was hers. After a fierce battle the Christian side hung his flag at the top of the castle, Xàbia is Christian.
The reconquista ended with a parade of the Moorish and Christian troops.
