Vicente Tena students celebrate the Day of Peace with a charity race

Students of school Vicente Tena have celebrated the Day of Peace with a solidarity race in favor of Save the Children. Each boy and girl had a participation card in their backpack where they had to write to their sponsors. Generally, the parents have been the ones who have collaborated.

For the students it has been a formidable day, as they have enjoyed and have collaborated with the Association, which defends and promotes the rights of children. This is the second year that they celebrate it and more than 400 students have participated in the different races that have taken place on the football field.

One of the teachers of Vicente Tena, Joan Buigues, commented that "Each child has contributed what he could, from the three years that traveled 50 meters to the older ones who were two laps in the field. All the children have participated."

The collection of this year has amounted to 1327 euros that will be donated to the NGO, Save The Children.
