Once again, and it is already the sixth, the fifth and sixth graders of the Port de Xàbia school they have carried out the cleaning campaign Quin plastic fàstic. With only one month apart, that is, 30 days after the last day, schoolchildren have grouped more than 34 kilos of waste. A fact that should raise awareness and much to the citizens.
Broken down by type of waste, students have accumulated, in just 1 hour, 1,390 kg of plastic, 985 grams of organic, 635 grams of glass, 335 grams of paper, 75 grams of cigarette butts and 30 kilos of various wastes, among which stand out Cañares, a buoy and iron.
From the school they appreciate the involvement of neighbors who joined this cleaning. The next departure will be already in 2020, specifically on January 22 at 12:45.
Congratulations to these guys! They do a great job, for which I sincerely congratulate you. But the best thing would be if they didn't have to clean anything; it is clear that the children of Jávea are aware and that the elders are not, not even adults, because they continue to throw garbage everywhere. And the young, with the damn fashion of the bottle, leave everything in disgust. Do you not understand that it is your own future that you are playing? Or do they like and enjoy being surrounded by garbage, whether at sea, on the beach or in the countryside?
