The Local Police of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell has initiated road safety education sessions for children four and five years of college Lady Elisabeth School.
The activity aims education in road safety and awareness from a very early age. In these sessions, children interact with the cops up on motorbikes and cars from agents and pose their questions.
According to José Francisco Mayans, Local Police Chief of El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, "For them it is enormously appealing as a playful way of addressing such simple issues as the importance of wearing a helmet, to respect the pedestrian crossing and signals and traffic lights."
Remember that the Local Police has also made a comprehensive study of the new road signs in the vicinity of the school installation Lady Elisabeth School. The project was carried out after detecting several collapses during and out of school.
