Last Saturday, July 6, the Valencian Community Federation Individual Championship was held in Torrevieja. The CD Montgó-Xàbia participated with five gymnasts: Valentina RodríguezMaría González, Llúcia Buigues, Andrea Lucas y Lucia Battle.
The morning was full of excitement and joy as Valentina Rodríguez was fourth in Pre-benjamín Basic Federation, this being his first year of comxicotetion, and María González, Kids Basic Federation, managed to touch the podium being in fourth position 50 hundredths the third place. Both had a high level of demand eighteen gymnasts competing against each.
The surprise was the Pre-Benjamin Federation Middle Llúcia Buigues who managed to win the regional championship with a bright and almost perfect exercise, achieving the third best score of more than 200 gymnasts who competed during the trophy from Sub-seven to Senior Advanced.
The afternoon was bittersweet, since Andrea Lucas earned a creditable fifth in Alevín Middle Federation, after making a brilliant season and winning all the trophies in which he participated and the Provincial Championship. Lucia eleventh battle resulted in Alevín Advanced Federation -the highest category of trofeo- having achieved third place in the Provincial Championship. Heat and how long it has been the season he played a trick and did not have his best day.
After the individual season, the CD-Xàbia Montgó, is very satisfied with the achievements and revving up for the season sets is just around the corner. Congratulations to the technical team of Arantxa Buenrostro, Esther Gil and Juan Pablo Benítez, as well as for all the members of this club.
