The Plaza de la Constitución de Xàbia hosted, yesterday Sunday afternoon, the second edition of 'The School Sings', an educational innovation project that promotes the values of teamwork and the development of multilingual skills through music.
Around 300 schoolchildren from the Mediterrània, Graüll, Trenc d'Alba, María Inmaculada and Arenal have participated in the work, directed by Joan Buigues and together with musicians from the band and youth band of the Xàbia Artistic Musical Center, with Héctor Buigues at the baton.
The show has combined choral singing, choreographic movement and theatrical scenes giving life to the cantata 'Robi's mission', work of the composer Marcel Ortega and the writer Isabel Marín.
Both the public and the participants enjoyed the story of Robi, a small alien who arrives from an asteroid to a school on Earth and with which diversity and inclusion have been addressed.
