The works of the Second Mountain about to end and open traffic

27 September 2019 - 15: 39

The works of the Second Mountain are, as of Friday, in the asphalting phase. Everything seems to indicate that this last phase will be finished during the next week.

At noon today, the councilor for works, Isabel Bolufer, along with municipal technicians have visited the state of the works to assess when traffic will open. In statements to Xàbia.com, the mayor has indicated that the works are going according to the deadlines and next Friday the vehicles could circulate in both directions.

"As it is paved, the signage will be placed and road painting done, as well as installing the gardening that goes along the sidewalks on both sides", the Bolufer said.

At the moment, traffic flow up Caleta It takes place on Athens Street.

Pedro, Pilar, Miquel, what a reason you are. They have removed the four trees that were there, which, although quite squalid, gave a little shade. Instead of those "egg cups", which besides being filled with cigarette butts and trash are a danger where someone will break or twist a foot, they could have put the bike lane. And, indeed, also car racing with some crazy driving. Anyway, a disaster. But someone will come out defending that disaster.

Drunkards can do speed races. Day and night, one day there will be dead, but it doesn't matter …….

THE AVENUE OF THE GREAT CAGADA.
    No curbs
    Treeless.
    Without canopies.
    No benches to sit on.
    Without bike lane
    Without bins.

    Sustainability 100%.

The most flippant is without a bike path. The crazy in car knowing that there are no cameras. And those egg cups that have replaced the trees and will soon be a giant ashtray and garbage dump.
