El Club Deportivo Montgó Xàbia The Alicantina Interclubs League season has started on the right foot, achieving excellent results in the first two phases held in Alicante and at home, in Xâbia.
In the first phase, held on April 30 in Alicante, the club's gymnasts achieved outstanding results. The junior duo made up of Iris Vallés and Dana Betancourt won the bronze medal, while the children's duo made up of Aroa Serrat and Marina Vidal and the youngest trio made up of Kornelia Lipka, Feliciti Kudliskis and Vega Serrano got the gold medal.
But the success story did not end there. In the second phase, which took place last Saturday May 6 in Xàbia, the gymnasts returned to the podium. The youngest trio formed by Vega Serrano, Julia Varón and Feliciti Kudliskis won the gold medal once again. In addition, the juvenile duo made up of Dana Betancourt and Iris Vallés and the children's duo made up of Aroa Serrat and Marina Vidal won the silver medal.
These good results allow the Club Deportivo Montgó Xàbia qualify for the grand final, which will be held on May 21 in the city of Torrevieja. There they will face other teams from the Alicantina Interclub League to fight for the title of League Champions. The club's gymnasts are training hard to reach this final in optimal condition and take home the trophy.
