All the Moors and Christians parties Xàbia have demonstrated, once again, their commitment to the environment by participating in the campaign The Reconquest of Glass; an initiative launched by Ecovidrio, a non-profit organization responsible for managing the recycling of glass containers- in more than 30 Valencian municipalities.
Through this initiative, the number of containers during the holidays in the vicinity of kábilas and cuartelillos is reinforced and a bucket equipped with the vacri or ale-hop system is provided to the comparsas and filaes, so that they can recycle the glass in a comfortable and fast way.
According to the data provided by the entity, in Xàbia it was possible to recover 3.200 kg of glass containers, equivalent to more than 12.190 containers, during the holidays. This means that each party has recycled on average a total of 10,70 kg of glass containers in the containers assigned to the campaign. In the case of Xàbia, the parties participate in a contest between municipalities with less than 950 festeros that will be resolved at the end of the year and that has a prize of 1.500 euros.

Internally it has been the Filà Trabuquers the winner of the raffle for a miniglu and a lot of products from the land, an incentive with which Ecovidrio rewards the effort made to achieve more sustainable and environmentally friendly parties.
Today a representative of the company has collected the award from the entity and received the congratulations from the mayor, José Chulvi, and the Councilor for Services and Parties, Kika Mata.
