The October 17 Saturday was held at the velodrome "Luis Puig"Valencia the regional phase National Championship Base Sets where participated the best clubs in Rhythmic Gymnastics Valencia.
El Club Deportivo Montgó-Xàbia participated with two groups, being the alevín category who obtained the best result. The group formed by the gymnasts; Zayra Costa, Isabel Guixeres, Lucía Alessandro, Valentina Rodríguez and Llúcia Buigues, third of Valencia were classified.
In the first pass the nerves played a trick and a fault them gold away, but the second pass on a perfect exercise making this a score of 12, the maximum obtained in the tournament.
In the Children's category, the gymnasts that formed the group were; Nikole WitzakMarta Ortuño, Andrea Ortuño, Alba Morell y Andrea Aranzazu, They managed to qualify for the National Championship, achieving a creditable eleventh place of sets 22 who participated in this category.
In the first pass they had an error but recovered score in the second where they achieved the fourth best score of this pass.
The two teams easily qualified for the National Base Championship to be held in Zaragoza from 20 to 21 November. All this is possible due to the great work done by the gymnasts themselves and their coaches. Arantxa Buenrostro and Laura Vengut.
